About Us
Our History
RBW was established in 1982 by the Wheatfill family in Terre Haute, IN with one straight truck. Richard (Dick) founded the company because he saw a need for a local business to provide transportation services specific to our home community and the surrounding areas. That vision still holds true today because we understand how important it is to stay true to the values that we established on day one.
We still do business with many customers that were with us from the beginning in 1982, which is something we are very proud of. We cater to our customer’s needs and we are not just another trucking company to them; we are an integral part of their supply chain. It is our motto “to serve those we serve well” and our growth reflects our dedication to providing exceptional service to our customers.
Our employees are valued the same as our customers, which is why many have been with us for 10+ years and will retire as RBW employees.
As we enter our 40th anniversary in 2022 and beyond we will continue to provide excellent service to our customers and dedicate ourselves to our employees and the communities we serve.
Meet Our Team
Rick
Rick has been with the company since the very beginning in 1982 and continues to offer his extensive knowledge of transportation and expertise to customers and employees. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys trips to Florida with his wife, Mary Jane; attending Colts games, and spending time with family.
Mary Jane
Mary Jane has been with the company since 2002 after spending some years teaching. She does a great job managing the company’s Accounts Receivables and Payables and wherever else she’s needed. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys trips to Florida with her husband, Rick; cooking, and spending time with family.
Bridget
Bridget has been with the company since 2012 after graduating from IU – Bloomington. She is involved with all things administrative, safety, and compliance. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys traveling with her husband, hiking, and baking.
Ricky
Ricky has been with the company since 2015 after graduating from Indiana State. He focuses on operations, brokering and maintaining customer relationships. When he’s not in the office he enjoys golfing, attending sporting events, and cooking on his grill.
Angel Stevens
Angel has been with the company since 2008, after working with several other motor carriers. With more than 15 years of dispatch experience, she is integral to the daily operation and is involved in many other aspects of the business. When she’s not in the office she enjoys going to concerts and spending time with her family.
Tiffany Dalton
Tiffany has been with the company since 2016 but used to work for RBW part-time during her high school years. Before she found her way back to RBW, she worked with special needs adults and children. She does a great job managing the local/city operation and much of the Accounts Receivables. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, her dog Dolly, and fishing.
